To any tune that Zeidy likes.
Once there was a bubba,
I loved her very much,
Giving kisses and hugs,
I never had enough.
When I was feeling down,
She tried to cheer me up.
Bubba’s the best bubba,
She’ll win the golden cup.
She comes to Milwaukee,
With treats and other things,
Just to make us smile,
With Zeidy as her king.
Mommy cleaned the place up,
For Shabbos and for them.
It was so bright and shiny,
Everything looked like a gem.
I love to lie in bed with her,
It’s such a cozy place.
Her warmth and many smiles
Really don’t go to waste.
She’s the very best Bubba,
When she reads us books,
And her tongue is delicious--
She’s the greatest cook!
Lecho dodi Likros Kalah,
On Friday night,
I help her pick her clothes out,
After candles she lights.
Her hair is so soft,
It’s fun to play with all day.
I hate when she leaves,
So now I’m gonna say:
I LOVE YOU BUBBA!
Zeidy makes everyone happy,
Reading a paper on the couch,
Nipping my nose,
Having special secrets in his pouch.
Being joyful is his motto,
He solves fights and things,
While doing karate,
And funny songs he sings.
Zeidy makes me smile,
He gives very warm hugs,
I like to tell him Chumash,
And he’ll tell me his own
D’var Torah as we snug.
I love all of Zeidy’s stories
And road trips in his car.
I like when he buys us bagels
And says that we’re his stars.
I like all of his surprises,
And when he makes up Yom Tov tunes,
And his special bracha Friday night--
So I hope to see him soon!
