Jewish Lens 2011 - You, Me, and Community...

The Coalition for Jewish Learning is again pairing with Jewish Lens to provide a community-wide photography project using the nationally recognized photography curriculum of The Jewish Lens. This project enables students to capture the diversity and richness of the Milwaukee Jewish community through a unique curriculum that incorporated the works of renowned Israeli photographer Zion Ozeri.

Involved organizations: Congregations Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue, Beth Israel, Emanu’El B’ne Jeshurun, Emanu’El of Waukesha, Shalom, and Sinai; Milwaukee Jewish Day School, The Academy (Hillel), Torah Academy of Milwaukee, and Yeshiva Elementary School.

Contact Mid-West Jewish Lens Coordinator Kipp Friedman at kfriedman@wi.rr.com for more information.

The Jewish Lens is offered through the Coalition for Jewish Learning, the education program of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, and is made possible by a generous grant from the Covenant Foundation.
